ANCOJ is the National Association of OMODA & JAECOO Dealerships (Asociación Nacional de Concesionarios OMODA & JAECOO) and represents both brands' network in Spain. It joined Faconauto in July 2025.

Why the ANCOJ case is interesting

OMODA & JAECOO began selling in Spain in 2023. At the time it joined, Faconauto noted that the network already had more than 70 dealerships.

It is an example of something relevant in the Spanish market: new brands need to build not only physical distribution, but also business representation structures.

What joining Faconauto brings

Membership allows the new network to take part in dealerships' collective dialogue with administrations and other players in the sector.

For a growing brand, this can be especially useful because issues quickly arise around:

  • contracts;

  • network standards;

  • investment;

  • after-sales;

  • training;

  • profitability;

  • regulatory adaptation.

A new network does not mean a network without traditional problems

Even though OMODA & JAECOO are recent brands in Spain, their dealerships face many of the same questions as long-established networks: cost of premises, customer acquisition, used car management, financing and after-sales.

The difference is that they have to solve them while building brand awareness and regional coverage.

Used vehicles will become a significant piece

As a network matures, trade-ins, approved used cars, demonstration units and buy-back operations grow. That is why used car management tends to gain weight over time.

To go deeper into those operations, this guide on inventory management sums up the basic controls a dealer needs.

The relationship with AECOVI

AECOVI does not represent dealerships before a brand and, therefore, does not replace this association. Its role lies in another part of the business: used vehicles, digitalisation and peer learning. For a dealership with a used vehicle business, it can be useful to compare practices with operators from other networks and independent dealers, whilst keeping the brand association as a specific representation channel.
